Local film organizations have a new way to network. The kickoff meeting for KC Film Connect is March 19th. Info at the link:
Film Commission Hearings
There is an effort underway to get a full-time Film Commissioner for Kansas City. This could be a tremendous boon to the area, so if you want to show your support, there is a public hearing this weekend, and another the following week.
“Swan Song” Screening
The KCFCC is co-sponsoring a screening of director John D. Hancock’s work-in-progress, Swan Song, on January 30th. Go here for the full press release.
